What is the Black Cloud?

In public safety and in the military, we often joke about people that have that black cloud that follows them everywhere, and how chaos ensues. As a Paramedic, you might be the trauma guy or the guy that never runs out of codes and intubations. In the fire service, you're the guy that runs a dumpster fire or even a structure fire E V E R Y shift. The cop that always has a felony arrest. The Marine that always draws fire once you cross over the fence. Or you might have been the guy that everyone at HQ calls on for special details - I was often that black cloud. Whatever the job, I got it done. In EMS, I was often the black cloud for trauma or codes. Made sense to me to just embrace the suck.
